Dear ones,

The harvest formally kicks off this week… ahead of Labor Day weekend, when we traditionally start! It’s a slow start to an early season. People at farmers market say all fruit was early this year but that does not mean we were ready! Pedro and Carolina cut their trip to Mexico short to jump on the harvest. We expect their return tomorrow.

We picked a few yellow barhi for last week’s farmers markets in Southern California and today I will investigate the medjools near “the point.” Please stay tuned. Bay Area, please expect us at this weekend’s farmers markets  August 25th and 26th. Thank you.
